Do not forget to fill your group page with a good documentation!

Phase 1

Here are some main domains, but you also can work on an domain of your choice.

  1. Soccer evening:
It‘s the soccer world championship. In many houses this is celebrated in small groups by watching the game, drinking beer, barbecueing, eating chips, and blatantly cheering if the right team scores.Domain Card
  2. Community kitchen:
On PZ9 is a community kitchen which is used by resident people of the HCI group, software engineering group and students. We have a coffee machine, dishwasher and microwave. The whiteboard and desk is used for meetings or by learning groups.Domain Card
  3. Museum:
There are several museums and exibitions. We have different exibits in display cabins. People visit the exibition for eduational reasons, leisure design or even fun. There are a wide range of stakeholder and Target groups. But a museum don’t has to be a booring place! There is much room for interaction and creativity.Domain Card
  4. Attraction:
The hallway on PZ9 is long and booring. Isn't there a possibility to make it more attractiv? Use attraction technics to make it make it more attractive!

The domain cards are only an example, if you find a better, more suitable style feel free!
Further tasks now are:

  • Choose your domain
  • Decide who aquires technology information and who domain information about your domain
  • The domain people create (sub-)domain cards with specific information about what you want to design. e.g. Coffee counting tool, or cheering recording system
  • The technic people create technic cards regarding to the domain. Think about what still exists? What do you want to use in your project?

You have two weeks time for that. If you need help in this phase you can get a LabHour on friday 27.6.

Phase 2

We do an inspiration card workshop like in the paper (here in short):

  1. Preparation: Select the cards you want to use, there will be additional cards from other people
  2. Presentation: Everyone present his cards and give the other participant an insight in his expert knowledge
  3. Combining: Create some affinity maps to sketch your ideas
  4. Reflection: Stand back and think about your work. Which of your maps provide good things or what do you want to avoid? Is there something in the process of the workshop which ist not suitable?

At the end you have an concept of your project and you can start with your implemention!
There a 5 slots on friday 4.7.
Please put your group in the desired slot. If it is not possible to take one of these, please write me (stefan.feyer@uni-konstanz.de) an email and we will find a suitbale time:
